The pearl
The definition of parable is a short story which is told in order to make a moral. ‘The pearl’ can be related relate to real life and contains a moral that can relate to real life, so, in my opinion, it is a parable. The moral that this parable contains is that money cannot make people happy or that money cannot satisfy people. Money would rather make people greedy than make them happy.
The moral that I could learn from this parable is that, as I said before, money would rather make people greedy than make them happy. This moral can relate to real life. For example, if there is something that is profitable, I will not care everything around me but I will care the thing. However, during the process, I always make some troubles, like harming others.
